Convenient Care at Your Clinic
Making it easier for you and your clients to access the cardiac care that pets need without the travel and costs associated with a full referral.
I’m passionate about helping both animals and vets. My goal is to ensure pets receive the best treatment possible while equipping you with the knowledge to communicate with your clients and manage cardiac disease effectively.
Having a cardiologist who regularly visits allows you to offer echocardiography in your clinic. Clients bring their pets to the vet practice they know, and vets can discuss cases with me in person.
You provide the clinic, the room, a nurse and the patients; I’ll bring the scanner and clinical expertise.
As an experienced cardiologist, with a background in first opinion and referral practice, I understand the urgency and concern that arise when cardiac issues are encountered in our animals.
I know that cardiology cases may be seen infrequently in general practice and that obtaining the experience necessary to perform meaningful echocardiography takes considerable time and the right equipment, which is often unattainable in first opinion practice.
Whether it’s a complex case or a straightforward assessment, I work with you to find the best option for each situation.

Experience & Qualifications
A graduate of Glasgow University Veterinary School, I have worked in first opinion and referral small animal practices in London and the East Midlands. I worked for Scarsdale Vets and Pride Veterinary Centre for over twenty years, working exclusively in cardiology from 2014.
While working in practice, I obtained the RCVS Certificates in Veterinary Radiology in 1997 and Veterinary Cardiology in 2008.
As well as seeing externally referred cases at Pride Veterinary Centre, I supported the first opinion and referral vet teams in managing patients with cardiac disease in the hospital.
I also had the opportunity to present at CPD events and conduct echocardiography training sessions.
Developing a New Service
Whilst I value the collaborative nature of working in a large multidisciplinary hospital, I realised that my passion lies in building closer, more personal relationships with veterinary teams, their clients, and their patients.
I’ve worked closely with vets in smaller practices, visiting regularly and developing strong working relationships. I enjoyed helping vets manage cardiology cases while they maintain their close relationships with their clients.
This approach benefits everyone: the client feels supported by the team they trust, the vets gain an extension of their services, and the clients and their animals receive high-quality care in more familiar surroundings at a competitive cost.
That’s why I’ve decided to bring this model to more practices, offering a personal cardiology service that integrates with your clinic.
Let’s work together to ensure that your patients can have access to cardiac expertise, whatever their circumstances- from the convenience of your own practice.
